Though in each room geyser is not available, but Hot Water available upon request. Location Detail

Icche Gaon Village is found 89 km from New Jalpaiguri, near Kalimpong in the Kalimpong district. The area has steep hills and many small streams. In October, the place comes alive with colors like white, orange, maroon, and golden yellow Marigold flowers. There are different kinds of ferns, mosses, algae, fungi, and trees like oak, pines, chestnuts, and maples. Ichche Gaon is a paradise for bird watchers, with beautiful birds such as flycatchers, orioles, finches, sunbirds, woodpeckers, rufous sibia, emerald cuckoos, three-toed kingfishers, and blue whistling thrushes..

Ichche Gaon boasts of many trekking routes. Picturesque trekking trails leads towards the view points of Ichche Gaon like Ramitey Dara, Tinchule and Jalsa. Ramitey Dara offers the vantage view of river Teesta making 14 turns through the Himalayan valley below. On a clear day tourists can experience a mind blowing scenic background of Mt. Kanchenjunga alongside the towns of Sikkim, Jelep La and Nathula from Tinchuley. Damsang fortress ruins is situated at a distance of 6 km. Sangchen Dorjee Monastery a 300 old, this Â Monastery gives an understanding into the history and culture the local. Rikisum, Reshi Khola, Sillery Gaon, Ramdhura and of course Kalimpong town are sightseeing attractions by car from our Icchey Gaon homestay.Â
